Here at Otterham School we are fortunate to have a dedicated cookery area for the children’s use.

We aim to encourage skills to develop for the children to make healthy choices for themselves, and to promote a “can do” attitude towards preparing food in an enjoyable setting.

Every child in the school will have the opportunity to cook 2 – 4 times per term, our focus being “Rainbow Cooking”.

We also run an after-school club (limited to 10 places per term) for the children to experiment with varied preparation techniques and varied cooking methods.

We are supported by Tesco and Asda for many of these activities.
