We were delighted to welcome Janie McDonald into our class today to work with us on a mini art project - Ourselves.
Using a colour palette collected from outside in our school garden, the interior of our bedroom, what we see on our journey to and from school outside and an outline of part of our body, we each produced an abstract piece of artwork.

Question: Should we have the right to say whatever we choose?
It has taken some time but after all our hard work, we have finally put together a performance showcasing our learning.  Initially we chose a poem by Charles Causley - Morwenstow, and then composed our own tune and accompaniment to put with it.  Although worried at first, our confidence has grown and we sang for the first time, in a long time.
